Established in 1925 with a foot operated Boston Type Platen Press, hand operated stitchers and Johannisberg Klein Cylindrical printing 7599 machine of 1909 model; today the National Press is a comprehensive printing company that is home to state-of-the-art graphic design, pre-press, printing and bindery facilities that can be matched to none in Jordan and resides amongst the largest printing establishments in the Middle East.

Since early days of its establishment, the National Press management policy has been to maintain a competitive edge in the world of printing; a policy that has secured its constant progress and growth parallel to the development in the printing industry.

In 1994, the National Press added proudly to its unmatched collection of equipment an eight-colour Heidelberg machine (82 x 102), followed by a Herkules Pro Imagesetter and the installment of a Topaz scanner in the pre-press department in 1996. A year later, a Linotype-Hell Tango drum scanner was added. As a further step to meet the growing needs of its customers, the National Press has just purchased two new printing machines, a two-color and a five-color Heidelberg SM 102.

With constant development and sturdy expansion plans, the National Press occupies a 7200 square meter purpose-built compound that houses the most advanced machinery and the latest software in the world of printing. It employs a workforce of 150 staff from several generations of skilled craftsmen whose know-how and expertise have been in constant development throughout their long years of proud service.

The fact that all modern facilities of print production are under one roof ensures that our customers are offered the luxury of starting and finishing their job at one place. Customers are guaranteed best quality and attention to their jobs down to the finest detail.

History and tradition, quality and efficiency, master skills and technology and above all, professionalism and integrity are all there at the National Press. These are the values that the National Press prides itself with.
